Marguerite Bertheau joined the research project “Blind Spot – The Holocaust in Ukraine and German-Jewish Memorial Culture” in 2026, which is funded by the Alfred Landecker Foundation. Prior to this, she was a research associate at the Chair of Jewish History and Culture at Ludwig Maximilian University in Munich. This is also the base for her doctoral research, in which she examines the political negotiation processes surrounding the admission of so-called Jewish quota refugees during the period of German reunification. She studied history, European ethnology and cultural anthropology in Freiburg im Breisgau and Cambridge. Seh was granted a Leo Baeck Fellowship from 2022 to 2023.
