Database project of the Eduard Duckesz Fellow
The database project was created by Michael Studemund-Halévy during his Eduard Duckesz Fellowship at the IGdJ in cooperation with the Hamburg Society for Jewish Genealogy. It includes all eleven Hamburg Jewish cemeteries with approximately 40,000 data sets. Users can research grave inscriptions and historical image material with the help of the database. The project was financially supported by the Hermann Reemtsma Foundation and the Authority for Science and Research.
